Questions and practical tips
Which audio format should I choose?
MP3 is useful for broad playback support; WAV is suitable for uncompressed audio; FLAC uses lossless compression. Converting an already lossy source to WAV or FLAC does not restore discarded detail.
Why can the converted file be larger?
An uncompressed format or a higher output bitrate may create a larger file. Choose settings for your listening or editing needs, rather than expecting every conversion to reduce size.
Processing and file safety
This tool processes files in your browser. Loading the page, libraries or AI models can still require network connections. Keep a copy of your original files and check the downloaded result before deleting them. Large files may require more memory and processing time than your device can provide.
